Job description, responsibilities and duties
• Design, develop, and maintain technical documentation for lab automation software for different audiences
• Work with team members across different functional groups and geographies to develop accurate and useful documentation
• Research and write user manuals, installation guides and help systems
• Write and deliver documentation that suits end users with a wide range of expertise
• Identify and plan efforts of documentation tasks or projects for each sprint in cooperation with the respective Agile Scrum team(s)
• Manage documents that require translation, working with vendors to obtain quotes, provide information, files or documents to be translated, ensure the review process is completed according to schedule, and enable the release of translated materials
• Participate in design reviews and project planning meetings
• Deliver effective documentation, with an eye on continuous improvement
• Update skills to align with industry advancements in providing effective user documentation, tools and processes
