SERVICE TECHNICIAN
Location: Czech Republic (Moravia) (mid or eastern part)
Short description:
Service Technician will be responsible for servicing, repair and installation of company products - stationary machines (DEA, Leitz, Optiv). He/She will be home office based, travelling to client ´s sites.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Client-site servicing, repair and installation of company products - stationary machines (DEA, Leitz, Optiv)
- Technical activities including installation, repair, preventive maintenance and engineering change upgrades to be performed at client sites in the Slovak Republic
- Take ownership of customer issues reported and see problems through to resolution
- Research, diagnose, troubleshoot and identify solutions to resolve customer issues
- Ensure proper recording and closure of all issues; prepare accurate and timely reports for direct manager ; Pre-sales and post-sales technical customer and maintenance support
REQUIREMENTS:
- University or high school education in Electronics, Mechatronics, Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent with valid certificate according decree MPSVaR NO. 508/2009, §22 or Czech valid certificate according Notice 50, §5 or higher
- Proven working experience in the service / enterprise technical support
- Experience with CNC machines is an asset
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent client-facing and communication skills
- Proficiency in English and Slovak
