EG Global Supply Chain Overview
The Enterprise Group (EG) supply Chain organization, as part of Hewlett Packard Enterprise, is counted as one of the largest in the world in terms of revenue, network and spend. Supply chain enables delivery and manufacture of a full portfolio of standards-based, integrated products and services developed specifically to solve the complexities of the extended enterprise and deliver a Converged Infrastructure of servers, storage and networking. The Supply Chain organization balances volume and complexity across HPE owned, and partner factories and suppliers, to bring advanced technology solutions such as servers, storage and networking together into one HPE Converged Infrastructure.
Buyer/Planner within the Procurement organization of ESS (Enterprise Servers & Storage) EMEA supply chain, responsible for the planning and procurement of a set of commodities required to support the manufacture and shipment of ESSN products (Enterprise Servers, Storage & Networking).

Job description:
Responsible for execution of commodity / category strategies worldwide. Executes company procurement strategies, policies and tactics required to achieve objectives. Ensures execution of procurement channel and category strategies in delivery of the company internal projects and 3rd party products/services when part of company customer solutions; purchasing and buying. Coordinates purchasing activities with engineering and manufacturing departments, strategic procurement, and company Business Units to maintain inventories at planned levels (where applicable), ensure assurance of supply, maintain service levels, meet business requirements, and mitigate risk. May include inventory management. At the non-exempt level, may assist with establishing and maintaining the production control system.



Responsibilities:
•Drives Manufacturing partners needs into supplier
•Supports E2E financial requirements to ensure suppliers are paid on time and sales proceeds are collected accordingly.
•Understands other regions processes and serves as backup to ensure business continuity
•Monitors suppliers performance , focusing on cost , delivery and availability
•Provides complex-level procurement support using subject matter expertise of a few technologies and knowledge of multiple technologies.
•Solves complex issues and drives tactical and strategic initiatives, such as leading process standardizations; executing program strategies; or coordinating integration of small acquisitions.
•Monitors programs, delivery solutions, key metrics, and process oriented tasks; identifies issues and proposed solutions with limited guidance.
•Collaborates with or leads teams to maintain and enhance the current business objectives, such as cost- management.
•Provides independent, analytic, and strategic support.

Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2) and Czech - Advanced (C1) and Slovak - Advanced (C1)

Personality requirements and skills

Education and Experience Required:

•First level university degree or equivalent experience; may have advanced university degree.
•Typically up to 2 years of experience in procurement or supply chain function.
•Global experience preferred.


Knowledge and Skills:

•Mastery in English and Slovak/Czech language.
•Strong understanding of procurement processes.
•Strong analytical and technical aptitude.
•Strong business application skills.
•Strong communication skills.
•Good understanding of corporate compliance.
