Your role

As the Global Process Owner (GPO) for Record to Report (R2R), you will drive and oversee the global financial and controlling processes across our company. You will take ownership of the end-to-end (E2E) processes, ensuring they are optimized, well-governed, and aligned with the overall business strategy. Your role will focus on driving innovation through new technologies, streamlining processes, and managing key stakeholders to achieve operational excellence.

  • Global Process Design and Governance: Design, govern, and continuously improve the global Record to Report (R2R) processes, ensuring alignment across all regions and functions.
  • Drive the implementation of process related global projects and best practice in the respective process area.
  • Technology Integration: Leverage new technologies (e.g., automation, AI, cloud solutions) to enhance financial reporting, controlling, and accounting processes.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership, business units, IT, and external partners to align global finance processes with business needs.
  • Process Harmonization: Ensure process consistency and alignment across regions, working closely with cross-functional teams to maintain a standardized approach to financial operations.
  • Governance and Compliance: Ensure all R2R processes are in compliance with relevant global standards and regulations.
  • Develop and monitor key governance frameworks and benchmarking. End-to-End (E2E)
  • Process Optimization: Oversee the E2E process lifecycle from data capture to financial reporting, identifying and implementing opportunities for optimization and increased efficiency.
  • Continuous Improvement: Act as a change leader by fostering a culture of continuous improvement, driving initiatives to enhance process quality, and optimizing system performance.

Your skills

  • 8+ years of experience in finance, controlling, or accounting roles within a large-scale, multinational environment.
  • Previous experience in a Global Process Owner or similar role is highly preferred. Knowledge:
  • Strong knowledge of financial processes, specifically Record to Report (R2R), and a deep understanding of global financial standards and regulations.
  • Technical Skills: Proven experience with implementing and managing financial technologies, such as ERP systems (e.g., SAP), automation tools, and other digital finance solutions.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Strong interpersonal skills with a proven track record of building relationships and managing stakeholders across different cultures and functions.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify areas of process improvement and create solutions that drive operational efficiency.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Additional language skills are a plus.
