About the team

As a Payroll Specialist at Henkel, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our employees are paid accurately and on time, while driving compliance and process improvements. You will be the go-to person for payroll operations in your designated country or region.

Your role

  • Guarantee timely and accurate payroll processing, meeting all statutory and compliance requirements
  • Perform payroll controls in accordance with internal requirements
  • Validate pre- and post-payroll reports and coordinate with stakeholders on resolution of potential issues
  • Cooperate with in-country payroll provider, Local HR and Finance regarding day-to-day operations
  • Contribute to projects aimed at automating and harmonizing payroll processes
  • Support Henkel employees with payroll related queries or questions
  • Create, review and maintain workflow documents and manuals

Your skills

  • Education in Human Resources/Accounting/Business Administration
  • Previous Payroll or HR experience is an advantage
  • Effective communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
  • Proficiency in English (any other European language is an advantage)
  • Excel on intermediate level (lookup functions, pivot tables)
  • Ownership and drive, passion for self-development
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Analytical and organizational skills
