About the team

Join our our Finance Purchasing team! As part of the larger process team, our 8-member unit plays a crucial role alongside 26+ individuals. Currently, we're in transition, expanding our international presence and embracing cloud solutions like MS Azure and SAP BTP. In line with our growth, we're on the lookout for a Senior Analyst to lead in the Sustainability domain, covering areas such as responsible sourcing, CO2 emissions, and recyclable plastics. Your role

  • Steers activities independently for remote Henkel purchasing locations and IT.
  • Organizes regular meetings to ensure sharing of the important information with relevant stakeholders and business partners to ensure active and close cooperation.
  • Participates in and provide input for the data domain strategy, priorities and goals.
  • Analyzes root causes of quality issues and plan and track issue remediation.
  • Establishes and monitors data quality via dashboards, visualizations, and early warning systems.
  • Identifies (select, define, prioritize) critical data elements (CDE) within data domain.
  • Defines and populates CDE data model showing the relations to other CDEs (in and outside the domain).
  • Measures and follows up on Data Quality within the domain (CDEs) and set KQI/KPI (Key quality/performance indicators).
  • Defines and populate business rules and definitions for metadata. Maps data lineages. Maintains data catalogues.
  • Executes on the defined data domain strategy and goals. Participates in defining the data domain boundaries. Defines the data sharing principles for the domain.
  • Owns processes and cooperates with other process owners.
  • Contributes to digital upskilling of self and team.

Your skills

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in computer science, mathematics, or economics, with 3+ years of working experience and with 2+ year of domain field experience.
  • Strong communication skills with fluency in English. Customer service experience is advantageous.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (Power Query, Power Pivot and/or VBA is advantageous).
  • Expertise in data visualization, particularly using MS Power BI.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail. Data structuring experience is advantageous.
  • Data quality knowledge and/or knowledge of quality system methodologies is advantageous.
  • Process management experience is advantageous.
  • Purchasing knowledge is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Python and/or Databricks is a plus.
  • Motivated to learn and master new technologies and techniques.
