Sourcing Hub concentrates E2E Sourcing management and Purchasing strategy execution. Performed activities include: market screening, e-sourcing, direct negotiations with suppliers on prices and contracts, decision making on supplier onboarding / delisting & category specific tasks. Sourcing Hub splits into Adhesive Technologies, Beauty & Laundry Care, Indirect materials & Services and Logistics clusters to reflect dedication to the business units.

Are you ready for embarking on an exciting journey and working on strategic projects shaping the future of Henkel? Join the great team of Henkel Purchasing with the exciting job opportunity as Sr. Global Purchaser for the categories Travel & Fleet / Real Estate and Facility Services.

Develops strategies for the global spend / purchasing basket assigned to him/her
Takes full responsibility for sourcing activities within the purchasing baskets in Germany (if applicable)
Builds in depth know how and expertise in the area of responsibility and its entire value chain
Independently manages & executes global sourcing projects within the area of responsibility
Drives global, cross-regional and/ or Germany-related tenders end-to-end
Defines and manages global supplier portfolio and strategic supplier relationship
Establishes strong relationships with key global and/or German stakeholders to drive projects, cost efficiency and innovation initiatives
Supports regions in strategic questions and on escalations with global suppliers
Supports regional teams in regional projects & negotiations

Your skills

Master’s degree in business administration/international business/finance or related field of studies
Up to 3 years previous working experience ideally in a similar organization or in a relevant field
Communication and storytelling skills with ability to create and present compelling PPT Presentations
Ability to establish trustful relationships across functions, leaders and with key suppliers.
Ability to influence and collaborate with individuals across multiple disciplines, cultures, and geographies.
Excellent analytical skills for quantitative and qualitative analyses
Curious, self-driven, proactive, and goal-oriented team player with strategic mindset and organizational skills (incl. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously)
Interest to contribute to Henkel long term strategic goals of sustainability, digital transformation, and innovation.
Previous experience with leading negotiation is considered a plus
Proficient in MS-Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, with an interest in further upskilling digital skills (e.g. with the usage of new tools)
Excellent English proficiency (written and oral), German is a plus
