Sourcing Hub concentrates E2E Sourcing management and Purchasing strategy execution. Performed activities include: market screening, e-sourcing, direct negotiations with suppliers on prices and contracts, decision making on supplier onboarding / delisting & category specific tasks. Sourcing Hub splits into Adhesive Technologies, Beauty & Laundry Care, Indirect materials & Services and Logistics clusters to reflect dedication to the business units.

Your role

We are looking for an independent strategic buyer who is interested in logistics markets and managing his own portfolio of logistic services. Strong emphasis is put on driving sustainability, seeking synergies and opportunities within the market. If you are the one, in our role you will:

Execute sourcing events, negotiations and contracts with new or existing suppliers with focus on Road & Rail in line with the global strategy of the purchasing category, in a compliant and efficient manner
Challenge and enrich the Categories' objectives, goals and strategies, including all short, mid and long-term financial targets and any risk mitigation strategies
Identify and implement best business partnerships in close cooperation with internal and external stakeholders
Align and cooperate with Supply Chain, contributing towards overall operational excellence
Use eSourcing tools as well as our transport management system (TMS) to prepare and run sourcing events
Mentor Category support teams in the Center of Excellence (CoE)
Leverage KPI reporting from analytical support teams to drive new commercial opportunities

Your skills

On the position, we offer to provide you with the top advanced negotiation training and supplier network. You will work with top market sourcing system and excellent supplier management program. In the meantime, we expect you possess great negotiation skills and analytical thinking. Apart from these, we require you have:

A minimum of 3 years’ experience in purchasing of Logistics, Indirect Materials and Services or Direct Materials for a global company
Master’s degree, preferably in Business Administration or Supply Chain
An open mindset that can react creatively on changes in the markets and our company
Project management knowledge and team player attitude
Excellent English on top communication level
