Sourcing Hub concentrates E2E Sourcing management and Purchasing strategy execution. Performed activities include: market screening, e-sourcing, direct negotiations with suppliers on prices and contracts, decision making on supplier onboarding / delisting & category specific tasks. Sourcing Hub splits into Adhesive Technologies, Beauty & Laundry Care, Indirect materials & Services and Logistics clusters to reflect dedication to the business units.

Your role

As a Category Team Member “Contract Manufacturing and Traded Goods” you will be sourcing for our Laundry Home Care Business. In this purchasing role, you are holding contacts and building relationships with our external manufacturing partners which extend our own production network. On top of that you will:

Scout for innovations amongst new suppliers
Manage project milestones and collaborates with suppliers, Supply Chain and Product Development teams to present deliverables in gate reviews to stakeholders
Participate in cost definition and correct cost evolution during new product development and discuss with all relevant internal stakeholders
Ensure purchasing deliverables readiness on time related to his/her projects and areas of responsibilities (costs, contracts, savings, lead-times…)
Define and manage supplier portfolio and strategic supplier relationships
Identify the opportunities and synergies and execute all relevant purchasing steps during the introduction of new products (screening, tendering, negotiation, supplier selection, contracting, cost management, supplier relationship management etc.)
Manage supply and financial risks related to his/her product and supplier portfolio

Your skills

A minimum of 3 years’ experience in purchasing of direct or indirect materials for a global company; strategic purchasing considered an advantage
Master’s degree, preferably in Business Administration/Supply Chain
Excellent communication skills with negotiating, influencing and convincing abilities
An open mindset that can react creatively on changes in the markets and our company
Project management knowledge and team player attitude
Analytical thinking and conceptual skills
Working proficiency in English is mandatory, other language is an advantage
