Your role
You will be responsible for the Contract Manufacturing and Traded Goods category for Adhesives Business Unit. Specific focus is on the commodity of moulded parts for European level. You will:
- Plan and execute sourcing events
- Negotiate and contract new or existing suppliers in line with the global strategy of the purchasing category
- Independently drive and execute projects in the respective area
- Identify and implement best business partnerships
- Align and cooperate with Supply Chain, contributing towards overall operational excellence
- Meet short, mid, and long-term financial targets and any risk mitigation strategies
- Leverage KPI reporting from analytical support teams to drive new financial opportunities
- Increase standardization and optimize purchasing processes in own category
Your skills
We are looking for a skillful buyer with team spirit and proactive approach with previous purchasing experience on European level. Onboarding, soft and hard skills training are assured, but in the meantime, we expect:
- Purchasing experience of min. 3 years
- Negotiation and communication skills on a great level
- Independent and self-organized personality
- Focus on priority setting and determination to succeed
- Analytical skills
- Strong Excel (pivots, functions)
- English on a confident communicative level
