Sourcing Hub concentrates E2E Sourcing management and Purchasing strategy execution. Performed activities include: market screening, e-sourcing, direct negotiations with suppliers on prices and contracts, decision making on supplier onboarding / delisting & category specific tasks. Sourcing Hub splits into Adhesive Technologies, Beauty & Laundry Care, Indirect materials & Services and Logistics clusters to reflect dedication to the business units.

Your role

  • Close cooperation with Purchasing department for packaging materials, as well as with suppliers working with Henkel
  • Support and administration of the bidding events, including preparation, setting up of electronic tenders and auctions within Ariba eSourcing tool
  • Comprehensive post-event analysis and data interpretation
  • Communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth running of the sourcing event
  • Support global team with supplier negotiation preparation and preparation of Steering Committees in the frame of global plastic packaging sourcing program
  • Regular support in reporting supplier participation, including performance on commercial terms and offers
  • Developing data models and tools to analyze category spend and identifying commercial opportunities
  • Adjusting and enhancing of existing dashboards and reporting tools
  • Regular monthly reporting and analysis of price development within plastic packaging program on global level
  • Actively help with the implementation of self-service reporting solutions (PowerBI)
  • Opportunity to participate in variety of projects, including widely recognized certifications (Lean Six Sigma)

Your skills

  • 1-2 years of experience in analytics will be an advantage for junior candidates & it is required from the senior candidates
  • Active level of English language (written & spoken)
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong MS Office knowledge – advanced MS Excel and MS PowerPoint is a must, experience in PowerBI as an advantage
  • Strong analytical and modeling skills with the ability to manage and meet deadlines & multitask daily activities
  • Motivated team player, willing to learn & continuously work on increasing the reporting expertise
