Your role
We are looking for an operational buyer who is interested in leading a small team, seeking synergies and optimizing purchasing processes.
- Responsible for the purchasing of direct materials with focus on Adhesives Tailend packaging materials
- Executes sourcing events, negotiates and contracts new or existing suppliers in line with the global strategy of the purchasing category
- Challenges and enriches the categories' objectives, goals and strategies, including all short, mid and long-term financial targets and any risk mitigation strategies
- Identifies and implements best business partnerships in close cooperation with the purchasing Key Account Managers
- Aligns and cooperates with supply chain, contributing towards overall operational excellence
- Leverages KPI reporting from analytical support teams to drive new financial opportunities
- Leads the Tailend team with focus on complexity reduction of the Henkel supplier base
Your skills
- Experience 1-3 years in related field
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Independent and self-organized person with attention to details
- Strong priority setting and judgement
- Team player with proactive approach
- Analytical skills (advanced MS Excel, Power BI considered advantage)
- Experience with process standardization and simplification
