Sourcing Hub splits into Adhesive Technologies, Beauty & Laundry Care, Indirect materials & Services and Logistics clusters to reflect dedication to the business units.
Your role
- Responsible for the purchasing of direct materials - packaging materials (plastic materials)
- Execute sourcing events, negotiations and contracts with new or existing suppliers in line with the global strategy of the purchasing category, in a compliant and efficient manner
- Challenge and enrich of the Categories' objectives, goals and strategies, including all short, mid and long term financial targets and any risk mitigation strategies
- Identify and implement best business partnerships in close cooperation with internal and external stakeholders
- Manage supply and financial risks related to respective product and supplier portfolio
- Manage selected supplier portfolio; maintain strategic supplier relationship
- Align and cooperate with Supply Chain, contributing towards overall operational excellence and leverage focus on sustainability agenda in Plastic Bottles (recycled plastic, reduced weight, bio-based plastic ...)
- Leverage KPI reporting from analytical support teams to drive new financial opportunities
Your skills
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in purchasing of direct or indirect materials for a global company; strategic purchasing considered an advantage
- Master’s degree, preferably in Business Administration/Supply Chain
- Excellent communication skills with negotiating, influencing and convincing abilities
- Interest in sustainability
- An open mindset that can react creatively on changes in the markets and our company
- Project management knowledge and team player attitude
- Analytical thinking and conceptual skills
- Working proficiency in English is mandatory, other language is an advantage
