Center of Excellence Purchasing (COE) concentrates E2E sourcing management & Purchasing strategy execution. Performed activities include: market screening, e-sourcing, direct negotiations with suppliers on prices and contracts, decision making on supplier onboarding / delisting & category specific tasks. COE splits into Adhesive Technologies, Beauty & Laundry Care, Indirect materials & Services and Logistics clusters to reflect dedication to business units.

Your role

  • Support and administration of the bidding events for different purchasing categories (Packaging, Raw materials, Contract Manufacturing)
  • Preparation and setting up electronic tenders & auctions within Henkel e-sourcing tool
  • Creation of supplier profiles, supplier relationship management
  • Support and training on e-tool for suppliers and internal colleagues (including newcomers in the future)
  • Coordination with suppliers to collect bid relevant documents
  • Analysis of e-sourcing events and revise the results for purchasing/category-teams
  • Contract management support
  • Ad-hoc, KPI and regular reporting for partners and categories, approved suppliers reports
  • Support with price list updates and cooperation with Master Data Team
  • Preparing presentations for business meetings
  • Tracking incoming e-tenders and reporting on e-sourcing projects
  • Active participation and support in analyzing, evaluating, planning, and implementing improvements in business processes
  • Support on purchasing (annual) report preparation (i.e. spend, supplier evaluation)

Your skills

  • University education preferably in a related field to purchasing/management
  • Fluent English is required and any other language is very welcome
  • Previous administration experience gained in an international environment is an advantage
  • Excellent PC skills & good knowledge of MS Excel are required, SAP is an advantage
  • Communication skills and a high service orientation
  • Accurate, self-organized person with attention to details and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in an international team
  • Interest to constantly improve processes
