- Retouching or photo clean up: removal of image defects (dirt, mark, crease on a product, light reflection)
- Removal of background or graphic elements
- Cut and assemble photos and creation of motion graphics
- Color grading and correction: color manipulation or adjustment
- Adaptation and localization of already available photo assets e.g.
- Pack shot replacement
- Liaise with business partners regarding planning and execution of digital content
- Handling of digital assets e.g. file format conversion, upload of digital assets into our data management system
Your skills
- Degree level education - Film Studies Arts, Cinematography/ Digital Design Animation or related field
- Minimum of three years related work experience as photo editor, at least 2 years on online advertising or eCommerce platforms
- High-level of expertise in the use of graphics software programs such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Premier, Adobe After Effects, Final Cut Pro X and Davinci.
- Technical knowledge on Digital video animation and UX experience are ideal, but not mandatory
- Must have a portfolio that demonstrates strong abilities, standout creative thinking, and exceptional photo editing skills
- Beauty FMCG experience and understanding of the online photo community and working knowledge of the eCommerce platforms is a plus
- Familiarity with 3D composition and special effects
- Be aware of current design and marketing trends and have an urge for learning
- Proactive and creative thinking needed to develop own ideas and photo editing/graphic proposals
