Accountant at General Accounting department (m/f)

Among the main duties within our General accounting department belong monitoring and processing of General Ledger postings and investigating of cases with local teams or other departments. Through various transactions we can manage cash flow between Henkel affiliate companies at the corporate level. At the end of each month closing activities are being performed.

What we offer

  • Contributing to preparation of Financial statements for European legal entities
  • Reconciliating of GL accounts and GL postings
  • Monitoring of Goods in transit accounts and cost of goods posted
  • Communication with business partners in respective countries and other departments in Henkel
  • Financial invoicing for Western European countries (between Henkel companies or third party customers)
  • Provide support to the external and internal audit
  • Ad hoc closing, accounting, processing tasks from business partners/other GA teams

Who we are looking for

  • University education (Master´s degree)
  • Knowledge of Double-entry book keeping
  • Previous experience in Accounting at least 1 year
  • English – Upper intermediate B2
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • SAP system knowledge is a big advantage
  • Can work independently, has analytical thinking
and continuous improvement orientation
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
