Your role
- Preparation, running and evaluation of tenders in the E-sourcing tool, with the focus on savings and improvement of cash net working capital
- Day-to-day communication with local purchasers on tender-related topics
- Supporting local purchasers in the final implementation phase – acting as a link between them and preferred distributers
- Communication and co-ordination with selected preferred distributers to make sure that offers are placed on time and in accordance with predefined requirements, assuring smooth implementation in the plant
- Liaise with the core regional purchasing team in matters of tender planning, distributor evaluation, target dialogue definition
- Analysis of new requests for supply from stakeholders. Participation in regular meetings with the focus on tracking progress. Communication with purchasing categories in regards to spend baseline reporting and performance
- Reporting of global, regional and country KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators) on a monthly and/or quarterly basis
- Ensuring correct maintenance of supplier and material master data in internal systems and tools
Your skills
- University or College education in a related field (i.e. Management, Business Administration, Purchasing)
- 1-2 years of previous administration experience gained either in Purchasing or a customer service environment
- Excellent English language (verbal and written), German language would be an advantage
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel is a must
- Accuracy and attention to detail, interest to work with data
- Versatile, adaptable to changes and stress resistant
- Working independently and ability to develop new processes, global way of thinking as welll as customer service approach with ability to interact with contacts at all levels
