Part-Time for Students: Support at Source to Pay Department with (intermediate) German language (m/f)

We deliver a high performing back office support for purchasing activities in the fields of direct materials (e.g. raw materials, packaging) and indirect materials (e.g. services, technical supplies, logistics). Our Source to Pay department is, as a part of its processes, handling also communication with raw materials’ suppliers regarding registration to European Chemicals Agency. This is a legal requirement and serves to improve protection of human health and the environment from the risks that can be posed by chemicals.

What we offer

  • Process non-automated purchase requirements for indirect materials (comparing offers, maintain and update of purchase orders, order confirmation processing)
  • Communication with suppliers and colleagues from respective countries (German speaking) in case of issues, missing data or other open topics
  • Handle customer requests
  • Performs related job duties as required
  • Opportunity to gain a lot of experience in the procurement field

Who we are looking for

  • University student, preferably in a related field to purchasing/management
  • Knowledge of ENGLISH and GERMAN language on a communicative level is required (mainly e-mail communication)
  • Previous administration experience gained in international environment is an advantage
  • Good communication skills, attention to detail, problem solving, team player
