Senior Forecast Analyst at Supply Chain department (m/f)

The Statistical Forecasting team based in the Shared Service Centre Bratislava was established in 2014 to support demand forecasting activity within Henkel Supply Chain organization in our Adhesive Technologies Business and ensure maximizing enriched forecast accuracy. Become a member of our new Forecast Analytics team and take your part in building up your professional career in the area of Statistical Forecasting and Mathematical Modeling. The new Forecast Analytics team will define all statistical models and parameters for all our business units (Automotive, General Industry, Packaging or Consumer Adhesives) in order to reach excellence in our service to our customers. Cooperation with Adhesive Technologies European Demand Planning team spread through all the region is one key pillar for success in this position. What we offer

  • Analyzing and proposing improvements in the forecasting algorithms and the optimum parameters definition process in coordination with the analytics continuous improvement expert and the forecast analytics
  • Validating & discussing the modelling outputs with the supply chain demand planners in Europe
  • Leading collaboration and communication with the demand planners in Henkel’s specific business unit (e.g. industrial, consumers, automotive ...)
  • Performing root cause/events data issues analysis for poor forecast accuracy
  • Direct review of the top products clusters in the monthly, quarterly and continuous improvement activities
  • Coaching and coordinating junior analysts ensuring the execution of tasks and ensuring his/her development and contributions
  • Cooperation with regional management from Supply Chain area
  • Possibility to coordinate & lead a small team, to develop leadership skills, to take full ownership

Who we are looking for

  • University degree in relevant fields (Mathematics, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, Economics, Technical)
  • 3-4 years of experience in predictive analytics in the Supply Chain environment (e.g. demand planning, supply planning, purchasing) or in other related sectors
Knowledge of APO or other statistical packages (SAS, R will be an advantage)
  • Expert MS office knowledge
  • Excellent level of English (written & spoken)
  • Proven capacity to lead other junior colleagues and ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and modeling skills
  • Motivated team player, willing to learn & continuously work on increasing the expertise in the area of statistical forecasting and mathematical modelling
  • Nice to have experience with projects and small team coordination
