Job description, responsibilities and duties
A unique opportunity for a senior professional, to take on the leadership role with functional responsibility.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- manage the identified and exploited synergies between different functions e.g. purchasing, logistic, product centers, production
- manage, support in design and ensure the introduction of uniform standards in the international procurement quality management, in order to establish quality and cost-effective processes and tools workflows according to the principle of "best practice"
- manage, support to develop and introduce systems and methods of advanced quality planning in accordance with the Hella/customer requirements in the procurement processes and support of project teams
- ensure the effectiveness of the global supplier audit system, in terms of scheduling, qualification of auditors and implementation. Manage, plan, execute and supervise system audits, process audits and product audits.
- continuous improvement of the Hella supplier base including the release of new suppliers according to the commodity strategy and business needs
- manage and coordinate the development and supervision of suppliers considering the material group strategy and business needs.
- define the supplier quality targets in the region according to Hella/customer requirements.
- ensure proper communication and regular information to management about quality indicators and trends as well as quality costs in the context of purchased parts
- You plan and carry out potential analysis and process audits (VDA 6.3)

- You have a completed engineering degree
- Several years of experience within the area of production of electronical components, electronical and/or lighting technical components are preferable. Detailed knowledge in different production processes is necessary
- Good knowledge in Quality Management as well as certified VDA 6.3 Auditor are preferable
- Good English knowledge completes your profile
