Your tasks:
- Take leadership for Rearlamp Mechanical Design & Simulation team combined with strong functional responsibility , mostly focussing on project acquisition and development.
- Proactively drive and grow the team by tailored guidance, training and work process optimization.
- Drive cooperation for all open issues on national and international level.
- Reporting to Head of Design & Development.

Personality requirements and skills
- Bachelor’s or Master‘s degree in Mechanical engineering or related fields of study
- Several years of experience in automotive industry
- Very good Knowledge in CAD (Catia V5 preferred)
- Very good Knowledge of the injection molding process, tooling and process technology
- Knowledge of Thermal Management and Simulation
- Previous Leadership experience preferred
- Structured work approach, flexibility to adjust to new situations, hands-on mentality and a proactive attitude
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal. German is an added advantage
- Willingness to travel
- Several years of experience in automotive industry
