Power BI Developer with Microsoft Fabric

We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer with expertise in Microsoft Fabric to independently design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end data solutions, from data integration to visualization, leveraging Power BI and Microsoft Fabric. This role requires a deep understanding of data engineering, data modeling, DAX, and Microsoft Fabric to transform raw data into actionable insights for decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Engineering and Integration:

Design and implement data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric, managing data ingestion, transformation, and integration from various sources.

Build and maintain data flows and transformation processes independently, ensuring data is reliable and up-to-date.

Address data quality issues and perform data cleansing as needed to ensure accurate analysis and reporting.

Power BI Development:

Create, deploy, and manage interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that meet business requirements.

Build efficient and scalable data models, leveraging DAX and Power Query to transform and analyze data within Power BI.

Optimize performance and streamline data retrieval for Power BI reports, balancing visual appeal with functionality.

Data Modeling & Analysis:

Develop comprehensive data models to support business analytics needs, ensuring data integrity and coherence.

Implement complex calculations and measures using DAX, enabling deeper insights from data.

Data Management and Security:

Define and manage data governance, access controls, and security standards within Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.

Implement row-level security and other privacy measures to protect sensitive data.

Project Ownership:

Take ownership of the complete data lifecycle, from ETL processes to the final visualization and reporting.

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and independently design solutions that align with business needs.

Continuous Improvement:

Stay up-to-date with the latest Power BI and Microsoft Fabric features, incorporating improvements into projects.
