Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

• Managing purchasing of indirect material, ensure timely, cost-effective purchase of goods and services in the required amount
• Processing PO´s (Purchase orders) on the bases of plant´s needs (individual departmetns create Purchase requests)
• You will be a member of Material steering committee (MSC), you will decide about important steps in the field of productivity, material selection and suppliers, which must be in the line with the budgetary schedule
• Ensure budget discipline to achieve / improve plant profitability
• Introduce, manage and implement cost-saving measures in design and use of material.
• Ensure cost savings at an objective level (for production and non-production materials) to ensure continuous savings
• Prepare detailed purchasing reports based on implemented standards
• Lead / support selection of suppliers for production and non-production purchasing to meet local requirements
• You will organize workshops and meetings with suppliers
• Follow-up specifications for a competitive bidding process
• Solve customer complaints in relation to the purchasing process
• Support SET, VA / VE of the plant and engineering for design and application design / use, reduction of
non-production costs
• Support the development and implementation of common European processes at the plant level to ensure compliance compliance
• Support internal teams to solve operational issues
• Promote cost savings
• Be a person in charge of plant purchasing management
• Sending reports to Plant Manager
