Job description, responsibilities and duties

• Ensure timely, cost-effective purchase of goods and services in the required amount
• Ensure budget discipline to achieve/improve the plant profitability
• Introduce, manage, and implement cost-saving measures in the design and use of material
• Ensure cost savings at an objective level (for production and non-production materials) to ensure
continuous savings
• Prepare detailed purchasing reports based on implemented standards
• Lead/support selection of suppliers for production and non-production purchasing to meet local requirements.
• Follow up clear specifications for a competitive bidding process
• Solve customer complaints in relation to the purchasing process
• Support SET,VA/VE of the plant and engineering for design and application design/use, reduction of non-production costs
• Perform “Make or Buy study”
• Support orders issue for all production and non-production requirements
• Support production and non-production strategic commodity teams and suppliers' procurement teams if needed
• Support the development and implementation of common European processes at the plant level to ensure the audit compliance
• Support internal teams to solve operational issues
• Promote cost savings
• Be a person in charge of plant purchasing management
• Sending reports to Plant Manager

Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards

1800 - 2500 eur/brutto. Interesting system of variable remuneration (seniority, performance)

• PC: Outlook, MS Office
• SAP MM module
• English fluent
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Focused on cost effectiveness
• Other language - advantage
• Automotive industry experience (purchasing) – min. 3 years
• Experienced with „Make or Buy study“
