Job description, responsibilities and duties
Senior Consolidation specialist is primarily responsible for IFRS consolidation or allocated sub-parts of HB Reavis Group which are subject to sub-consolidation due to legal or compliance reasons or because they represent a separate line of business for which the management of HB Reavis Group is keen to see its business results.
Responsibilities:
• Prepares consolidated financial statements for allocated group of companies
• Prepares individual IFRS financial statements
• Participates at consolidation of other parts of HB Reavis Group
• Participates at ad-hoc internal projects (tax planning and structuring, transfer pricing, mergers, de-mergers, acquisitions of new projects, disposals of subsidiaries) and other, eg. Management Controllership, tasks as necessary
• Ensures uniform accounting policies are adhered to with the Group
• Understands key business models, proactively seeks to improve and simplify processes where necessary
• Builds and maintains strong working relationships with internal customers
• Deals with and provides information to external auditor (annual audits, transaction audits)
• Communicates with external tax and accounting advisors
Place of work is in Bratislava (twin city) however we offer flexible and remote cooperation.

• At least 4 years of professional work experience in finance
• At least 2 years of experience with audit of consolidated financial statements or with preparation of consolidated financial statements
• Knowledge of IFRS and Slovak statutory accounting regulations
• Knowledge of consolidation principles
• An ACCA qualified or partially qualified ACCA student
• Structured in thinking and clear in presentation of ideas
• A team player
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities
• Ability to communicate at all levels across the Group
• Proactive, able to operate effectively and independently with minimum guidance
Proficiency with MS Office suite and accounting program
