Senior Accountant

One of the most reputable European manufacturing company is currently looking for a Senior Accountant to join their international team in Prague.

A successful candidate should combine 5+ years of experience of collaborating and/or managing a team of accountants and junior accountants with excellent analytical skills and an in-depth understanding of accounting principles and company practices.

Responsibilities:

• Lead of accounting and reporting processes
• Ensure compliance to IFRS
• Assess tax risks and risk management
• Establish proper level of controls over accounting, taxation and reporting processes
• Work with internal and external auditors
• Control period end closing
• Reconciliations of balance sheet accounts
• Project management: actively participate and sometimes lead the internal accounting and reporting projects


Main responsibilities will include reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining general ledger and preparing month-end close procedures.
