Tytex is looking for a professional Quality & Environmental Manager to develop the areas of quality management and environment.

Reporting to the VP of Q&E, the Q&E Manager is responsible for all quality and environmental matters within the Tytex Group. This includes issues regarding:

• compliance in general
• the overall Tytex Group Management System
• the overall complaint handling system
• proactive handling of daily Q&E matters
• health and safety
• environment
• quality in products and operations
• quality and compliance towards customers
• internal, customer and authority audits
• Q&E plans (objectives and KPI’s)
• budgets and capacity costs

You are, of course, member of the local management team of Tytex Slovakia.

The Q&E Manager spearheads a department of 13 people (1 quality engineer, 1 quality assistant and 11 quality inspectors). You are responsible for the co-ordination of activities and for the development of your team.

The managerial responsibilities especially include the continuous updating of the Management System to comply with Tytex Group requirements, ISO standards (9001, 14001 and 13485) and legal (local and global) requirements.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Master's degree)

Educational Specialization

Engineering

Language skills

Slovak - Proficiency (C2) and English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Driving licence

B

Experience in the position/sector

At least 5 years of management experience

Personality requirements and skills

• A strong Q&E background with management experience from production companies with tangible products (e.g. automotive, medico-technic, food production)
• Experience with being responsible for the Quality Management Systems and dealing with demands from customers and authorities
• Able to work hands-on and capable of processing numerous details when necessary
• Experienced in having full Q&E responsibility for a production company
• Minimum 5 years of experience having full responsibility for Q&E in a production company
• A minimum of 7 years of experience working with quality areas
• Experienced in complex working environments and handling stakeholders
• Experience with people management and cross functional projects
