Job description, responsibilities and duties
- Monitor and interpret applicable laws and regulations affecting the organization's
industry
- Establish and maintain a comprehensive understanding of compliance requirements
- Develop and update compliance policies and procedures
- Implement and communicate these policies across the organization
- Conduct risk assessments to identify areas of non-compliance or potential risks
- Collaborate with other departments to mitigate compliance-related risks
- Regularly review company operations to ensure compliance with established policies
and regulations
- Provide compliance training to employees at all levels if necessary
- Prepare and submit reports to management, when necessary
- Recommend and implement improvements to enhance compliance processes
- Collaborate and communicate with internal departments to address compliance
issues and implement solutions
- Ensure the confidentiality and security of sensitive compliance information
- Provide guidance and advice in the resolution of compliance-related challenges
- Regularly update management on the status of compliance initiatives and potential
risks
