Job description, responsibilities and duties

Join Greyson team as a Technical team Leader and help to deliver solutions that transform our client’s businesses.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Overall management of the development team for the core insurance system project including front end, business logic and data layer development
• Application of the development management tool in planning and assignment of the development work packages, monitoring development team progress, couching team members...
• Coordinate development of integrations with 3rd party systems
• Provide regular progress status reporting on behalf of the technical team
• Manage communication and interactions (be counterpart on behalf of the development team) with the functional team and testing team
• Review and ensure quality of the technical documentation prepared by the team
• Plan and manage architecture and quality reviews of the new application (with the Solution architect), plan and manage implementation of proposals for architecture, performance and security enhancements
• Prepare and support deployment, plan and manage handover of the solution to regular IT Operation

Candidates with education suit the position

Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

Czech - Proficiency (C2) and English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

We require:

• Matured team lead with strong skills and practical experience from managing a SW development team (cca 12-15 FTE) across whole SDLC on complex SW delivery projects
• Experience with following technologies (languages):
  • MSSQL
  • NET framework (C#)
  • HTML5 (HTML/JS/CSS)
  • Entity Framework, ASP.NET Web API, EcmaScript 2015+, AngularJS, TypeScript, SCSS.
• Strong experience in applying SOA principles and patterns in development of the business applications
Knowledge and practical use of development management tools, MS TFS (Microsoft Team Foundation Server) is a preference
• Experienced in development methodology preparation, training and couching of developers
Communication and mentoring skills - communication to business/functional team and testing
• Knowledge of banking/insurance systems is an advantage
