Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
The successful candidate will be responsible for handling relations with suppliers, resolving quality issues, planning the activities for the tour groups before the season start in pursuit of our company’s excellence goals.
Responsibilities include:
• Book all services with local suppliers prior to start of the season (hotels, bus companies, restaurants, local guides, etc)
• Provide sales updates to suppliers on monthly/weekly basis
• Book and confirm all arrival and departure transfers (to/from airport)
• Book and confirm special arrangements for individual passengers
• Resolve quality issues related to the tour, itinerary and features included in the program
• Handle relations with suppliers (bus companies, restaurants, local guides, etc.)
• Reconfirm services with suppliers prior the cruise as per workflow calendar
• Book and confirm special arrangements for individual passengers
• On demand - Support in buying and in searching of secondary vendors
• Prepare & Finalize tour materials for Program Directors prior the cruise as per workflow calendar
• Respond to Customer Service/Quality Requests received from headquarter
• Support phone duty appx every 5th week (including after office hours and during weekends to support Program Directors with emergency situations)
• Customer care over the phone to assist hospitalized travelers during the trip or in case of an emergency
• 1-2 times a year travelling on the product (interaction with travelers on board) and for the company regional meetings
