This role is outsourced by Grain Slovakia. We prefer freelancers based in Slovakia. We do not offer relocation support or visa sponsorship, so please save your time and do not apply if you are not from Slovakia.
The role we are actively looking for is a Senior Backend Developer with a good track record of managing services within AWS running on k8s.
- Starting date: June 2024
- Duration of project: long term
- Location: You will be working remotely for Swedish software house.
- Business language: English
- Salary: We are open to discussion. From 300€ man day.
- Contract type: Freelance
The role is 100% (but open to discussion) from June onwards.
Remote working is possible. Fluent English is required. You will be part of a Swedish team and an ongoing delivery for a game project, building backend services for an online multiplayer game.
Important aspects of the profile are that you have good experience with AWS, and building things in a large-scale Kubernetes environment. The techstack is Node.JS written in Typescript. The team uses Nest.JS, which is a Node.JS framework. Experience from a gaming context is preferred, but advanced AWS skills are much more valuable than a gaming background. In fact, if you are attracted to the gaming context, you will have a good opportunity to learn and grow.
