Engineering manager

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a well-established international company that is looking for a suitable candidate for position "ENGINEERING MANAGER".

Responsibilities:
- Plan resources
- Select, lead, inform, motivate and promote subordinate employees
- Individual goal setting and oversight of subordinate employees within CID-process
- Report related to professional and project subjects
- Communication with customers
- Technical support within selection of suppliers and make-or-buy-decisions (ensure the cost-profit-relationship)
- Lead and support of contractors and external suppliers
- Competent advice for internal and external customers
- Technical support for acquisitions
- Draw up of Engineering Budget (PD2) and Engineering Profit Plan
- Plan engineering costs for product modifications caused by customer requirements
- Is responsible for projects in the technical, timing and budget areas.
- Plan of cost centers for projects
- Realize (define, develop, promote) the CPP for the respective area
- Expert for VA/VE, Design Verification, Design for Manufacturing, Design for Assembly and PLUS

- University education focused on mechanical engineering, electro-technical, technical, etc.
- Active English
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in management field and organizational skills
- Leadership Experience and budget preparation skills
- High flexibility and willingness to travel
- Product and Process knowledge in area of automotive Interiors (Door Trim, Instrument Panel, Floor Console)
- Orientation on customer expectation and need
