Manager for corporate reporting

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a well-established international company. Our client is looking for experienced FP&A Manager in his recently established SSC in Bratislava.

Your duties will be:

- Manage the team of financial analysts, leading the forecasting process on Group level
- Leads the accounting activities for a specific country and partners with the business to ensure that the business needs are being met
- Ensure that company will meet all its internal and external reporting and control requirements
- Manage all balance sheet and income statement reporting process for CEE region
- Ensure correctness regional financial and management reports with the business and make appropriate adjustments as agreed with the business before submitting results for consolidation
- Responsible for the timely completion and follow up on all items for the balance sheet reconciliation activities
- Ensure monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities run correctly
- Coordinate with country to ensure that all revenue recognition activities occur within a timely manner
- Monitor the performance and quality of the activities performed based on agreed Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreements
- Manage FP&A regional teams who establish the adequate interaction between the business units

Candidate should have:

- Accounting and Tax background, knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP or Slovak GAAPs
- Experience with preparation of forecasting process on group level, understanding of full financial statements, experience with financial planning and analyses for entities
- Previous experience from shared services preferably
- Leading experience (including direct reports)
- Proficiency with SAP, Hyperion and Oracle
