Supplier Quality Teamleader

Perfect opportunity for SQE Leaders or Experienced QEs (CQE, SQE, or PQE) from automotive segment who want to take on new challenges.

The SQE Leader will be responsible for ensuring the quality of components and materials supplied by external vendors, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and leading a team of Supplier Quality Engineers.​

• Conduct supplier audits according to VDA 6.3 and assessments to ensure compliance with automotive quality standards, specifications, and requirements.
• Establish and maintain effective communication channels with suppliers to address quality issues, resolve problems, and drive corrective actions.
• Development of critical suppliers.
• Release of new suppliers in terms of (PPAP/PSQ, APQP, Capacity evaluation)

• Define and enforce quality assurance processes and procedures for incoming materials and components used in automotive manufacturing.
• Monitor and analyze supplier quality metrics, such as defect rates, non-conformances, and corrective action effectiveness, to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and procurement, to implement quality control measures and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• ​Conduct risk assessments and failure mode analysis (FMEA) to identify potential quality issues and develop mitigation plans.
• Lead and mentor a team of Supplier Quality Engineers, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively, ensuring alignment with departmental goals and objectives.
  
• ​Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supplier quality performance, reduce defects, and optimize processes.​
