Our client is a dynamic and innovative production company committed to excellence in every aspect of its business. As the company continues to grow, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join the purchasing team as a Strategic Buyer.
As a Strategic Buyer, you will play an essential role at the company. You will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies that optimize cost efficiency, quality, and supplier relationships. Working closely with various departments, including supply chain, finance, and operations, you will identify sourcing opportunities, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier performance to drive continuous improvement and achieve strategic objectives.
Your tasks:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company goals and objectives.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, conducting thorough assessments of capabilities, quality, and cost competitiveness.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to achieve favorable pricing, terms, and conditions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and develop sourcing plans to meet their needs.
- Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and industry developments to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Maintain relationships with key suppliers, fostering partnerships that drive innovation and mutual success.
- Implement tools and processes to streamline procurement operations and enhance efficiency and accuracy.
