Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
Be the leader of the local new to be set supply chain management organization, support the implementation of the organizational site of the project from a supply chain management point of view. Lead the Supply Chain Management side of the green field manufacturing facility in PREŠOV
Your tasks:
• Establish the local supply chain team.
• Act as a supply chain planning solution lead for the ERP and MES project.
• Create a plan with goals and deadlines to achieve successful project completion.
• Work with selected suppliers in the fields of sourcing and logistics to establish long term partnerships.
• Identify and mitigate obstacles to achieve project deadlines.
• Finetune and execute the SCM department people recruitment plan to support the planning and execution of the project.
• Manage and safeguard the follow-up of the supply chain part of the project within time and budget.
• In cooperation with HQ set up and define the internalsupply chain processes and controls.
• Monitor and control inventory levels
• Implement effective inventory forecasting methos to meet production demands
• Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish strong relationships to ensure a reliable and cost-effective supply
of raw materials (stainles steel sheets) and components
• Continuously assess supplier performance
• Collaborate with production teams to develop production schedules
• Ensure production processes are sufficient and minimize bottlenecks.
• Transportation and distribution of finished goods, optimizing routes and modes of transportation for cost-effectiveness.
• Continuously evaluate and improve supply chain processes
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards in supply chain operations.
• Generate and analyze key performance indicators and supply chain metrics to make data-driven decisions and monitor progress
towards business goals

Personality requirements and skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration or a related field.
• 5+ years relevant work experience as a supply chain manager within a manufacturing plant with 300+ employees.
• Strong understanding of supply chain processes, logistics and inventory management.
• Proficiency in supply chain software and tools (f.e. ERP system and demand forecasting software).
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience with recruiting, selection, and employee development.
• Experience collaborating with and influencing cross-functional teams and key stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to build & deliver structured & compelling communications (both written and verbal).
• 5+ years relevant work experience as a supply chain manager within a manufacturing plant with 300+ employees.
