Logistics project engineer - Greenfield

As a Logistics Project Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing logistics processes from scratch. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and supply chain management, greenfield experience, possess excellent analytical skills, and be committed to continuous process improvement.

Your tasks:

• Process Design and Optimization: Design, develop, and implement efficient logistics processes that enhance supply chain performance, reduce costs, and improve overall efficiency.
• Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics to identify areas for improvement in logistics operations, analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), and develop data-driven solutions.
• Warehouse Layout and Design: Collaborate with warehouse teams to optimize layout and design, improving material flow and storage efficiency.
• Inventory Management: Develop and implement strategies for effective inventory management, including demand forecasting, stock replenishment, and cycle counting.
• Automation and Technology Integration: Identify opportunities for automation and technology solutions to streamline logistics processes, such as the implementation of warehouse management systems and other progressive technologies.
• Continuous Improvement: Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics department, utilizing Lean methodologies.
• Supplier Collaboration: Collaborate with suppliers to optimize inbound logistics, reduce lead times, and improve overall supply chain responsiveness.
