Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are now hiring for the Purchasing department of the new global business center of Marelli in Trnava.

Are you skilled in purchasing or experienced with the supply chain processes? Or just graduated and being excited about procurement and its related activities? Do you speak ITALIAN?

If yes, we would like to hear from you. And do not worry about Coronavirus restrictions – Marelli goes digital and interviews are happening through the video calls.

Would you like to know a bit more about your future daily tasks?

• Maintenance of current supplier database
• Completion of the process in case of new suppliers
• Keeping an eye for suppliers data changes and updates
• Maintenance of a whole purchasing process
• Creating and tracking purchasing orders in the internal system
• Processing of price changes agreement
• Analysis of data for reports such as market fluctuation and exchange rate fluctuation
• Initiation of quarterly suppliers rating

• University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Commerce, Logistics or any related field
• Experience from customer support or data entry roles from SSC environment
• Previous experience in reporting and data analysis
• Previous experience with procurement, purchasing, or supply chain is a big advantage
• Fluent in English and Italian language is a must
• Experienced in Microsoft Excel, familiar with SAP
