Salary

From 2 800 EUR/monthThis is a legal monthly minimum required to be stated by the Slovak law. Offered salary varies based on relevant experience and skills. Plus: Annual Salary Bonus based on individual & company performance.

Your role

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to join our high-performing technology organization and oversee infrastructure-related initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the successful delivery of complex projects and drive the transformation of our infrastructure landscape. As a Technical Project Manager, you will be part of planning and delivering large, complex projects across the enterprise. The project team, Technical Project Manager is part of, provides oversight of the organization’s strategic initiatives, thereby providing the enterprise with assurance that the desired business value of the initiatives is achieved. As a Technical Project Manager, you will primarily report to the Director of Technology Programs.

This position requires experience in leading/managing/overseeing infrastructure related projects, basic knowledge of open source programming languages, understanding of DevOps/Cloud Automation principles and Infrastructure as a code tools (such as Puppet, Ansible, Terraform or CloudFormation).

Big-picture thinking, initiative, drive and motivation, attention to detail, the ability to learn quickly, the capacity to handle internal and external relationships, competence to work with senior executives, and excellent soft skills are essential.

You will:
  • Drive and facilitate projects & programs of strategic importance enterprise wide on day-to-day basis.
  • Manage project plans, project schedule, milestones for infrastructure-related programs and initiatives.
  • Keep project execution statuses and milestones up to date in standard tracking tools (e.g., Smartsheet).
  • Proactively identify and communicate any potential risks to projects progress.
  • Maintain project documentation and reporting to company leadership.
  • Identify all stakeholders impacted by the project, analyze their expectations, and develop appropriate management strategies for actively engrossing collaborators in project decisions and execution.
  • Identify dependencies between projects that might affect the project delivery, and coordinate dependencies among teams.
  • Track project workstreams and the flow of information throughout the whole organization.
  • Utilize company-wide best practices, techniques, and processes throughout project execution.
  • Propose facilitation process enhancements to improve projects execution.
  • Understand the workflows and technology department processes to support onboarding for new hires.
  • Operate with a deep understanding of Agile processes in Hybrid environment, and current methods of coordinating Business & IT.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in information science, technology, engineering, mathematics, or another quantitative field.
  • 5+ years of technical leadership experience in an Agile software development environment.
  • Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager, leading/managing/overseeing infrastructure-related projects.
  • Understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud infrastructure deployment and management.
  • Familiarity with open-source programming languages and scripting for automation purposes.
  • Grasp of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (e.g., Git), and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Preferred knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Leadership – You are experienced in leading end2end IT projects of any size with the ability to drive and motivate project teams to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Communication - You communicate effectively with project team members and stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving – You have an independent, organized, and responsible way of working and can identify and solve problems that may arise during the project.
  • Experience working with global/remote teams.
  • Preferred: Possesses certification in either Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile Scrum Master (ASM) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) from an accredited organization.
  • Written and spoken communication skills in English (C1 category).
