Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
Responsible for the day-to-day management of the GLOBSEC website and its subpages
- Uploading articles, project reports, press releases, announcements and related materials to the GLOBSEC homepage and relevant project/events pages
- Selecting relevant images from our photo stocks to support the above activity
- Ensuring that all GLOBSEC content is Search Engine Optimised
- General management of GLOBSEC’s analytics software, providing colleagues with a monthly update on unique views, page visitors, popular articles/features etc.
- Day-to-day liaison with contractors responsible for updating and maintaining the GLOBSEC website
- Light repair work to website and subpages, for example, updating project pages, adjusting images, incorporating new features
- Identifying new features/products that could benefit the visual appeal and functioning of the GLOBSEC website (plugins, software etc.)
- Liaising with GLOBSEC teams/colleagues on a regular basis to understand their web-based requirements
- Production/development of GLOBSEC’s monthly newsletter, and special newsletters as and when required
- Assisting the Social and Digital Media Coordinator with the development of graphics for social media posts
