Job description, responsibilities and duties

Strategy and Leadership

• Develops and implements production strategy for GLOBSEC flagship events;
• Inspires and professionally develops team members responsible for event management, protocol, security, graphics, side events of flagship conferences;
• Comfortably manages complex teams including task-distribution and set-up of smart goals while working in a fluid, dynamic organization;
• Identifies improvement opportunities and drives action plans;
• Responsible for smooth cooperation of Production Department with other GLOBSEC’s departments;
• Oversees the quality standards of the work of the Production Department.

Production of GLOBSEC events

• Cultivates innovation and uses new technologies that lead to a portfolio of ground-breaking creative work;
• Develops production plans for GLOBSEC events from start to end according to the target audience, objectives, and requirements;
• Coordinates implementation of production plans on time and on a budget for effective but impressive events;
• Oversees on-spot production – management of interns and external suppliers (technicians and photographers), ensures quality check controls and resolves to arise on-spot issues;
• Manages relationships with suppliers/partners in respective portfolios with truly amazing negotiation, operational, and logistic skills;
• Manages broadcast facilities for GLOBSEC events including liaising with broadcasters to secure cameras, studio facilities, satellite broadcast, and related equipment/resources;
• Ensures all technical requirements and security measures are put in place as required by the respective Security Manager;
• Oversees post-event evaluation and develops lessons learned;
• Manages delivery of graphical products and outputs utilizing internal graphic designers as well as external suppliers;
• Promotes inclusive and collaborative communication style between colleagues for the benefit of information flow and to curb any problems that arise
• Accountability for overall expenses budget of Production Department;

University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Proficiency (C2)

Personality requirements and skills

• 4+ years of experience in event production including a high-level understanding of audio-visual equipment, electrical and photo marketing/lead generation systems;
• 3+ years of experience in leading diverse teams/projects management
• Strategic mindset and global perspective;
• Thinks innovatively, blending big ideas with realistic execution limitations;
• Solution oriented mindset with the ability to work constructively with others in time-sensitive circumstances;
• Exceptional attention to details and organizational skills
• Builds collaborative relationships;
