Job description, responsibilities and duties

We, an young agile software developing company with stable business in healthcare, automotive, retail, media, telecommunications and security are looking for a project manager with career background, software development experience and strong focus on customers, engineering and operational excellence. You will lead and grow an engineering team that is responsible for design, development and operations. Become a member of our global teams in Košice.

Project manager will provide structure and support to software development projects for GlobalLogic clients. This person will be responsible for managing tasks and directing resources in the project at any given time and ensuring that this project meets or exceeds internal and client expectations and are delivered on-time and on-budget.

Main responsibilities:

Planning:
Develop and demonstrate an understanding of the client's business, their needs, expectations, and requirements. Collaborate with the project teams and account managers to identify the approach, deliverables, schedule and tools to deliver the project within established constraints.

Project Execution:
Coordinate all activities of the project team and ensures that project tasks are completed by: scheduling and facilitating project-related team meetings (i.e. kick-offs, status, internal/client reviews, etc.), communicating action steps to team, and delivering weekly status reports to project team, the client and the management. Develop, maintain, review and/or disseminate all project documentation including status reports, invoices, change orders, project schedules, budgets.

Monitoring, Scheduling, Financials:
Manage and control project production scope and the change control process to ensure that projects are completed satisfactorily according to schedule and within budget. Responsible for delivering work within sold margins. Responsible for raising and maintaining awareness of all project issues and risks, and working with appropriate personnel to develop solutions.

Staffing:
Work with Directors and Recruiters to ensure that projects are appropriately staffed, including both employee and contract resources. Follow internal processes and adjusts staffing needs in a timely manner. Serve as a mentor to new and/or current employee(s) and assists with employee on-boarding and training.

Deliverable Quality:
Collaborate on the content and presentation of key client deliverables as required to ensure relevancy, strategy, quality and timeliness.

Internal and Client Communications:
Acts as a main client point-of-contact for all project related issues.

• Relevant experience of successfully managing projects or experience of managing a team of at least 5 people;
• Experience of creating project documentation;
• Experience of successfully defining and analyzing product requirements;
• Experience of written and verbal communication with Clients;
• Skills in personnel management and motivation;
• Experience in requirement management.
