Lead Android Developer

We are looking for a mobile enthusiast to join and lead our excellent Android team. You will get an opportunity to help our client develop and manage applications for a medical project.

We also want you to help us research options in the field of Augmented Reality for Android. Our team is developing a mobile application which will be interacting with the patients, guide them through the medical device setup and help them overcome any obstacles and discomfort.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Translating designs and wire-frames into high quality code
- Designing, building, and maintaining high performance, reusable, and reliable code
- Ensuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
- Identifying and correcting bottlenecks and fixing bugs
- Unit-test code
- Leading a small team of developers

- Java/Kotlin experience
- Android SDK experience
- Experience with JSON and data via REST
- Experience with Bluetooth, Nfc
- Experience with APIs and third-party libraries for common tasks (Android Jetpack, Dependency injection, Protocol Buffers, RxJava2)
- Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
- Familiarity with continuous integration
- Confident people person not afraid of any challenges
