C ++ / C Embedded Engineer

We are seeking the candidates to join our engineering branch, especially the embedded part to expand our teams in Košice.

AVAILABLE PROJECTS:

* New Generation Medical Device Project *

A long-term project, comprising software development of a new generation medical device designed for first response emergency (rescue systems and first aid). Combination of latest medical and scientific know-how with next generation emergency medical services. We are expanding our team of developers. Beside developers and testers, the team consists of medical requirements analysts, UX/UI designers, solution and SW architects, test-automation engineers and other experts.

A technologically fascinating project that integrates the user interface with a medical platform, business logic and third-party SW components. Among other tools and platforms, we deploy here embedded C++, Linux, Qt, Yocto, BSP, Python, IoT, over-the-air update (OTA), software security, and various communication stacks (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, fiber optics).

* Automotive New Telematics Unit Project *

We have been developing standalone telematics solutions for vehicle connectivity, letting car drivers to enjoy newest automotive features, innovative safety navigation and entertainment services. Multiple teams work for well recognized world-class customer for 3 years now. They are currently starting development of new features and customization for a French-Japanese car maker group.

The telematics unit is a complex device from both HW and SW view providing a large set of services such as voice and data connectivity, localization, e-call, m2m/IoT teleservices, car remote control, data collection, and third-party application runtime environment.

We use state-of-the-art technologies such as over-the-air update (OTA), virtualization, secure storage, trusted execution environment, automotive IoT, CAN, MQTT, Yocto, automotive Ethernet, SomeIP, embedded Linux, etc.

* Industry*
Development of future displays and controllers for industry vehicles for our client - global producer of products and services used in areas such as cooling food, air conditioning, heating buldings, controlling electric motors, compressors, drives and power mobile machinery, building roads, cities and the whole growing world (C/C++ / Embedded / Linux / Kernel)

- Design and build displays and controllers SW
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Unit-test code for robustness, usability, and general reliability
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
- Perform code review and update development documentation

- Good knowledge of Linux operating systems
