Java junior/senior backend developer

We are seeking creative and motivated engineers to work on our digital coupon solution. There are a wide variety of challenges that have been and still needs to be solved. A new project for customer base in the U.S. shaping the ways CPG brands operate in the market is coming to Kosice. Work with us using the latest technology and influence the way over 50 million shoppers act each day.

We will be creating the platform for a pool of thousands of CPG-funded offers and promotions directly integrated with the website. A wide variety of challenges is ahead of us offering various ways of professional growth for our team of professionals. For this project, we are looking for several developers having experience in Java backend development and also having some JavaScript skills.

Requirements:
• Professional Java backend development experience. (4+ years)
• Professional backend javascript experience (preferably node.js) (1+ years)
•Java design patterns and object-oriented programming
• Built large scalable and transaction driven infrastructure code
• NoSQL database (Mongo, Casandra, Redis)
• Web Services (Spring)
• JMS/Kafka
• Build tools such as Maven and Ant
• Web Application/Services performance tuning and optimization
• Unit tests (JUnit) with Test Driven Design practices
• Full software development cycle from design through release
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work as a team or independently
• Self-motivation and an entrepreneurial mindse
