Senior/Medior Scala Engineer

The customer is a #1 Radio and Audio streaming platform on the market that is serving content to millions of users worldwide.

The candidate will be responsible for the development of new features for a set of existing microservices as well as developing new microservices for specific business flows.

- Collaboration with the Customer and a team on creating a new microservices.

- New features development.

- Development of services and APIs based on AWS stack of technologies.

- Software design, developing code with unit tests to implement the design.

- Correcting flows based on requirements testing, and integrating with other services.­­

IT

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

- 2+ years of professional experience using Java and at least 1-2+ years of professional experience using Scala.

- Strong knowledge and experience with microservice, RESTful web services and API's, databases.

- Hands-on experience with relational and non-relational databases.

- Hands-on experience with any messaging queue.

- Hands-on experience with AWS or other clouds.

- Ability to learn quickly, understand existing API and code.

- Strong written and verbal English skills.

- Responsible, goal oriented, self-organized, communicable.
