You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth tour operations, working hand-in-hand with our Tour Managers to deliver flawless tours that exceed our guest's expectations.
Key Responsibilities
As an Operator, you will oversee all stages of the tour process—from preparation to execution and follow-up. You’ll:
- Assist with pre-tour arrangements, including vendor bookings, hotel confirmations, and itinerary preparation
- Provide on-the-ground support to our team of Tour Managers, resolving logistical challenges swiftly to ensure our guests have an exceptional experience
- Manage post-tour tasks, such as processing end-of-tour documentation including accounting files and tour administration
- Maintain professional communication with Tour Managers, business partners, and clients, while adhering to Gate 1’s high service standards
- Take an active role in key team events, including department meetings, by sharing your insights and contributing to ongoing improvements. Additionally, there may be opportunities for business trips related to your assigned region(s).
Emergency Support Duty
Operators take part in a rotating schedule to provide after-hours phone support during active tours. This ensures coverage for emergencies. The rotation is shared across the team, with clear communication of schedules and expectations prior.
