We are happy to offer an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to lead and inspire our team!

In this pivotal role, you will oversee day-to-day logistics, managing a team of supervisors and operators, ensuring seamless and efficient support for our tours and Tour Managers (TMs). A key focus of this position is to transform the team from a process-driven approach to one that proactively meets the needs of our TMs. We’re looking for a strong leader with outstanding organizational and coaching skills who can drive high performance and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Lead, manage, and support a team of 2 supervisors and 10 operators, fostering a collaborative and proactive work environment.
  • Develop the team to provide personalized, efficient, and proactive support to Tour Managers, focusing on real-time problem solving and enhancing client experiences.
  • Coach, mentor, and guide team members, promoting a positive atmosphere and encouraging continuous growth and development.
  • Hold regular team meetings and provide constructive feedback and performance reviews to ensure individual and team success.
  • Identify and address training needs, implementing development plans to enhance team skills and performance.
  • Act as second-in-command to the Area Manager in their absence, ensuring seamless leadership.
  • Build strong relationships with Tour Managers, maintaining an in-depth understanding of their support needs and ensuring their satisfaction.

Operational Management:

  • Oversee day-to-day logistics operations, ensuring timely and proactive support for all tours and Tour Managers.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth coordination and accurate execution of logistics plans.
  • Monitor and analyze operational performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and team satisfaction.
  • Continuously optimize operational processes, empowering team members to work independently and achieve success.
  • Handle operational deviations and ensure swift, effective resolution.
  • Oversee the preparation and implementation of new technical itineraries for upcoming tours.
  • Manage out-of-office emergency support, ensuring quick problem resolution and maintaining satisfaction for both Tour Managers and clients.
