Job description, responsibilities and duties
An exciting opportunity awaits to join Gate 1 Travel Slovakia s.r.o. as an Operator for Escorted Bus Tours across various European destinations. The primary role involves working closely and supporting the Tour Manager throughout the tour lifecycle, ensuring seamless logistics and top-notch service standards. This entails adhering to Gate 1 Standard Templates and Guidelines, providing clear and accurate information, and maintaining professional cooperation and communication with the Tour Manager and business partners as well as assisting in resolving issues for a flawless client experience.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
As an Operator, your duties span pre-tour, tour, and post-tour support. Pre-tour responsibilities include assisting with vendor bookings, confirming hotel arrangements, and preparing technical itineraries. During the tour, you'll handle day-to-day issues and promptly process accounting and end-of-tour packages. Post-tour duties involve managing cancellations, supporting customer service requests, and assisting stranded clients if necessary. Other duties involve maintaining the emergency support phone, participating in meetings and annual ride-alongs, handling customer-related issues, and supporting branded material distribution and secondary vendor contracting.
