Metrology Leader

* Independently, and through subordinates, addresses diverse quality issues. Interfaces regularly with quality; regulatory; manufacturing engineering; product development; Supply Base and Supply Chain both internally and at suppliers in regards to exchanging information and problem solving with respect to measurement
* Responsible to assure that the processes, systems, learning and resources deliver compliant to the business and customer specific requirements zero defects goal and objective for Customer Satisfaction.
* Support NPI and transfer programs as well as supplier issues, packaging, inspection and manufacturing issues and other areas as deemed necessary.
* Supervise a calibration for gauge recall; calibration and Out-Of-Calibration investigations in accordance with established procedures.
* Maintain up to date training of Quality Engineers and Calibration Technicians on applicable policies and procedures.
* Write or revise documents, as necessary, to support company quality, compliance and manufacturing objectives.
* Ensure plant wide Material Review Boards are effective and timely. Act as chairperson for such boards.
* Perform / assist in tasks as necessary to support company needs.
* Ensure priorities of activities of the Metrology Technician(s) / operator(s) are consistent with plant goals and objectives.
* Know and follow all laws and policies that apply to one's job, and maintain the highest levels of professionalism, ethics and compliance at all times.
* Promote the highest standards of professionalism, ethics and compliance, and actively support our compliance program-related initiatives and activities. Consistently enforce employee compliance, including attendance at training programs, and promptly report any non-compliance to the Quality Manager
* Awareness of Customer Specific Requirements
* Is responsible for following the management systems in production, quality, HS&E areas and other external and internal standards and regulations
* Observes and ensures following of work rules and internal HS&E guidelines resulting from responsibilities of managers and other employees in HS&E areas in the current wording
* Manage the development of his team members through the HPD and MRR process
